
Rotary Food Drive
Rotary Club of Wakefield partnered with the YMCA to collect food for our Community. 918 lbs. of food was donated and delivered to the Johnny Cake Food Pantry to help brighten the Thanksgiving holiday for our neighbors in need. “Caring and Sharing” is paramount during these difficult times and The Rotary Club of Wakefield continues to do what they can to make a difference.

The Rotary Club of Wakefield awarded charitable grants to the three local non profit organizations; Domestic Violence Resource Center, JonnyCake Center for Hope, and Welcome House.
Funds will be used to support programs and services for local residents in and around South Kingstown. The Wakefield Rotary Club’s fundraising efforts directly support charitable causes to help or improve life in our community, our nation, and around the world. The focus of support includes food banks, education & resources for undeserved residents, scholarships for young adults, literacy programs, water purification programs in developing countries and the eradication of polio around the world.
