The Challenges of Hydrology in Nepal

Soni Pradhanang, PhD is Professor, Water Resources & Quality at the University of Rhode Island, Department of Earth Sciences, Planning & Design. She is also Director of Global Water Resources, Undergraduate Minor Program Chair, Wetlands, Watershed & Ecosystems Science, MESM. Through her knowledge of hydrology and  water quality she has helped small scale farmers in Nepal protect their water supply. She states "access to clean water and sanitation is a growing problem in many parts of the world".
