Pam Ancheta -- paid late fine; good to see Jeremy Osborn and his lovely bride Mollie at the reception in Kingston's Harbor Church on Nov, 26--saw fellow Rotarians there and apologies for not sending to other club members a second reminder about the event; attended the very efficient URI-Rotaract meeting of Nov. 20th Martha Whittier -- bucks for leaving meeting early and Judy Fortier -- thanks to Rotaracters and others who helped make Mews' Gear and Bear Run a fundraising success; noted that an Easter Seals client was featured in the Westerly Sun Dennis McLeavey -- thankful for time spent with family and at a butterfly sanctuary Sandy Cutting --- spent Thanksgiving in Florida; attended a wedding and ended up meeting a neighbor she didn't realize had been in her neighborhood for 2 years Elizabeth Candas -- husband and fellow club member Sezgin Candas will be at next week's meeting and announced that Art Nelson will make effort to be part of our meetings again and she's asked him to be a guest speaker at a future meeting Chris Van Hemelrijck -- leaving meeting early to be at his doctor's appointment and will soon be the Wakefield Foundation treasurer Ben Bardo -- paid his fine for being late and being 66-years-young Fran Alexakos -- spent time with family in Austin, Texas Joe Norris -- in the spirit of Thanksgiving was grateful for being with Rotary club members Jim Buchanan -- promoted "Stuff The Truck" event at his appliance store on Dec. 9 (check out details in the Upcoming Events section in the right column) Spencer Seitz -- spent time in Canada and requested the correct address to send the condolence card to Doug Wardwell's widow, Julie, that was return-mailed because Pam Ancheta gave him the wrong address. Mary Roda -- spent Thanksgiving in Florida and is grateful for lots of things including having the brace off her torso. Yay! Bob Cruz -- owed up to his birthday and endured a birthday serenade Marion Humphrey -- spoke about how touching Doug Wardwell's memorial service had been. |
