Probably not at this inaugural meeting at Arturo Joe's but a "Rotary Minute" will be part of a Wakefield Club meeting in the near future.

--Thursday, November 9th -- Rotary Foundation Dinner @ at the Venus de Milo restaurant (75 Grand Army Highway, Swansea, MA 02777). Cocktails 5:30-6:45pm. Dinner 7:00pm. Master of Ceremonies will Be our own Russ Bertrand. The featured speaker will be District Rotarian Razia Jan an inspiring role model who opened a girls school in Afghanistan. Veronica Berounsky, Ph.D. - University of Rhode Island, Graduate School of Oceanography

Our speaker this Thursday, November 2nd is Dr. Veronica Berounsky, who attended the recent conference held in Rhode Island where three scientist from the EPA were able to attend but not speak.
