Tim Grey was introduced by Rotarian Richard Pike. Tim is a URI Grad, television sports caster, documentary film maker. His goal is to preserve stories and broadcast these stories through documentaries donated to PBS. He has 21 films to date. He feels history is missing in schools today. He is opening a Global History Center in Wakefield this fall.
His films are narrated by various famous people who show interest in the projects. He takes the filming to the locations.
Tim speaks of a different sense of pride during the WWII era. He speaks of people who helped each other, The Great Crusade!
Tim funds these films thru fundraising and donations. He has the most fulfilling carreer retelling stories by veterans who fought for our freedom, He wants to continue to help people learn and remember the times.
Tim knew several of our former members of the club. He took Chris Heisler back to Normandy to film "D Day, The Price Of Freedom" His web site link is www.wwiifoundation.org
